A Sustainable Travel Hanger

HangFold’s sustainable hangers are not only produced using at least 76% recycled ABS and the "zero glue" concept, but the entire process including logistics aims to have a positive environmental impact.

That’s why HangFold works within a circular economy business model and produces sustainable hangers.

According to Forbes, the Great Pacific Garbage Patch alone covers an approximate surface area of 1.6 million square kilometers. Yes, we are talking about an area twice the size of Texas and three times the size of France! And the sad reality is that ~85% of hangers end their life in landfill.

As a company, HangFold strives to implement and work within a circular economy system.

Circular Economy for a Sustainable Hanger

A circular economy system aims to reduce waste through the continual use of limited resources.

In contrast to the traditional linear economy which follows a “take, make, dispose” model for production, HangFold aims to make, use, reuse, remake, and recycle.

HangFold’s sustainable hangers are also designed using a “zero-glue” concept, thus eliminating any chemicals normally used to assemble the product. This system also allows damaged products to be repaired easily, without disposing of the whole unit and the materials used to produce it.

To work in a circular economy and produce sustainable hangers, HangFold teamed up with Inplasor, an ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 certified manufacturer located in Spain and in close proximity to the distribution centers to minimize environmental impact during transport. Among others, our partners have also been awarded the Silver Medal by Ecovadis.

Packaging for a Sustainable Hanger

HangFold’s sustainable hangers are labeled using recycled paper printed with low-migration ink to ensure they are biodegradable. These labels are produced in factories in close proximity to the manufacturer, to minimize the carbon footprint during transport.

Also, the B2B box used to distribute this eco-friendly hanger is produced and printed using recycled cartons and low migration ink.

The B2B box is designed to have the maximum capacity while reducing to a minimum any additional, but biodegradable, protective packaging.

Lastly, the size of the distribution box (60x40x40), allows HangFold to leverage the maximum capacity for each pallet, thereby reducing the impact on the environment while storing or transporting their eco-friendly hangers.

Sustainable hangers for travel

Saving space on a business trip is very important. The less hassle at the airport the better, especially when you’re on a time crunch. Sometimes more is less when packing for a quick trip. And wasting space in your suitcase means increasing your carbon footprint.

HangFold’s travel hangers will save you space, and time, and give you that extra bit of room you’re always looking for in your suitcase. You can bring these eco-friendly hangers to keep your dress clothes looking fresh and crease-free so you can save yourself the embarrassment of having wrinkled clothes while keeping up the professional look you seek by packing travel hangers and saving space in your suitcase.
